Work you ll do

The USDC Center Chief of Staff (CoS) plays a critical role as a connector of dots across business units and key stakeholders. Reporting to the Center Managing Director (MD), the CoS will have significant responsibilities in supporting the development of the Center strategy, defining growth goals, and working across the offering portfolios and industries on go-to-market collaboration. The CoS advises and supports operations, performance management, and promoting effective and efficient management of the Center in conjunction with the Center MD.

Manage communications and distro lists (draft, review, distribute)

Provide analysis beyond that provided by RM, Talent, finance

Create materials/decks (internal updates to OP leaders, delivery excellence leadership, etc.)

Coordinate client/project team visits (logistics room/catering, tours, materials)

Participate in OP operations calls (with Offering CoSs, talent, finance, etc. to represent USDC and bring back information)

Manage forecasting (gather info from talent, Resource Management, etc., track trends, prepare forecast for submission)

Provide back-up and assistance to other CoS as needed and work together to provide consistency across OPs as appropriate

Plan and direct administrative and operational activities for the Center Managing Director (MD)

Organize and prioritize activities, critical information and issues for the Center MD to address effectively

Acts as point of contact and gatekeeper for the Center MD correctly routing requests for time and travel based on need and criticality

Establish rapport with the Center leadership and act as a trusted advisor for the Center MD and Center leadership

Assists in formulating and driving the strategy of the Center MD and the Executive leadership team at the Center

Assist in forecasting

Liaise with the Executive Admin to manage calendars, resolve conflicts and to help the Center MD manage time effectively and efficiently

Serve as the business POC for One Team regarding facilities management and maintenance inclusive of disaster management, security and space management

Provide strategic oversight on critical projects and assists in coordinating deployment of center practitioners to support project needs

Oversee preparation for leadership meetings inclusive of preparation of materials, securing meeting space and ensuring the needs of meeting stakeholders are met before, during and after the meeting

Support leadership and client visits as required by creating innovative and engaging slides in MS PowerPoint

Provide communications support to the Center MD inclusive of drafting communications and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Analyzes data and provides recommendations for various center related metrics

Coordinates with Talent Teams and other Center CoS to maximize efficiencies across other US Delivery Centers

Business liaison to enabling arenas (talent, resource management, etc.)

Maintain the CSLL calendar, proactively looking for schedule conflicts

Analytics & Cognitive will work with our clients to:

Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms

Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions

Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements

Qualifications

Unyielding focus on quality results (analyses and deliverables)

Ability to interact and interface with all levels within the firm, including leadership

Team player that can work with different types of working styles

Ability to build relationships and coordinate across many stakeholders

Understanding of the firm initiatives and systems

Ability to meet tight deadlines

Ability to be organized when other people, data, etc. are not

Follow up and follow through

Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

Willingness to travel 15%-20%

Required

Bachelor s degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent years of experience

10 years of overall experience

Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills to interface with senior-level employees and various departments within the firm and our clients

Excellent writing skills are needed for this position

Proficiency with PowerPoint, spreadsheet, word processing and email software programs

Willingness to travel in the US (10-20% of your time)
