Key Objectives
The Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications Project and Operations Manager will
support the Chief Communications Officer working in partnership with the global marketing, communications, and investor relations function. This individual will provide timely, proactive, and thorough support to the CCO while collaborating closely with the key stakeholders across the marketing, communications, investor relations, business units, corporate functions, and digital transformation teams.
This role requires both internal and external coordination with superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills with the ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization in multiple regions simultaneously.
This position will be located in either our New York City, NY or Jersey City, NJ offices.
The individual will serve as a critical facilitator and project manager, organizing key initiatives, campaigns, editorial calendars, and the proactive project management of events and sponsorships across the company.
The ideal candidate has deep experience gathering and packaging material for various reports, presentations, analysis and at times working on highly confidential and sensitive information.
The successful candidate will be extremely responsive, proactive, and highly efficient with time management. Additionally, the candidate will have the ability to understand and organize highly complex projects, meeting preparations and agendas, and coordination involving executive-level management and global team members, with impeccable attention to detail.
Specific Responsibilities
Partner with the CCO to manage department budgets, vendor contracts, RFPs, and maintenance, identifying synergies and economies of scale across the organization
Develop and update spreadsheets and databases
Coordination with public relations agencies, vendors, and other service providers
Conduct review of global marketing and communications policies and procedures – ensuring they are updated, vetted by legal and compliance and in new team hire orientations and posted internally
Provide support for town halls, leadership offsites and conferences, including vendor management and comprehensive run-of-show materials
Help develop global processes, protocols, policies, and best practices across the global marketing, communications and IR functions
Assist with the pilot and launch of our rebranded intranet and the execution of updated internal communications tracking and measurement tools
Manage and centralize all media and team research and trade subscriptions
Help support our various regions and centers of excellence on projects, as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of Associate’s Degree preferred
Prior experience working with a global communications and/or marketing team in financial services or insurance
Familiarity with Jira or other project management tools as well as agile project management methodologies
A proven track record supporting executives and global teams
Highly proficient administrative skills, including expertise with the MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint
Speed, flexibility, and ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flawless attention to detail with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding judgement and problem-solving ability
Resourceful, continuously helping the communications team adapt to the latest technology and collaboration tools
Takes ownership and responsibility for tasks and sees them through with digital and high-performance mindset

Scope: Reports to the Chief Communications Officer with matrix reporting to the CMO North America
