JOB SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, leads the production and execution of video projects including scripting, shooting, editing and other post-production requirements.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Works collaboratively to produce a broad range of video projects, ranging from productions that require shooting on-camera personnel or talent, to quick-turn social media clips – and everything in between.

Works collaboratively with Marketing Department and other stakeholders on video, audio, and motion graphic production - including concepting, storyboarding, planning, shooting, organization and lighting of video shoots, creating graphics, editing, color correction, compression and encoding of videos, and digital asset management.

Manage and act as a single point of contact for all aspects of production and provide oversight of any associated budgets

Define and manage video production and post-production processes to effectively manage video project workflow, timelines, project direction, production budget and quality and timeliness of final deliverables

Ensure creative assets adhere to brand guidelines and voice.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS

Knowledge of Alaska Tribal Health System, ANTHC, and Alaska Native culture(s) and politics.

Experience in video production spanning a range of projects and budgets and skills with shooting, editing, motion graphics and other post-production in an agency or corporate environment

Knowledge of technical editing systems, sound design, color correction, video production and codec compression standards

Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premeire, and/or Final Cut Pro

Skills in strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management.

Skills to personally shoot/edit quick turn-around internal use video

Skills to collaborate across departments and stakeholders, and is experienced with corporate review and approval processes for big brand creative work

Required Experience

Experience in the Alaska Tribal Health System and health literacy. Experience working with a Learning Management System particularly in distance education.

MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

A Bachelor’s Degree in communications or electronic media from an accredited college or university. Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

Non-supervisory - Three (3) years professional work experience in video production and editing. An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

Experience in the Alaska Tribal Health System and health literacy. Experience working with a Learning Management System particularly in distance education.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

May travel within Alaska in small fixed wing aircraft.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The following demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift approximately 20 pounds. ANMC is not a latex free environment. Therefore, some latex exposure can be expected.
