We serve markets that include biopharmaceutical manufacturing (cleanroom production), nuclear energy production, industrial hygiene, and military and counterterrorism applications including respirator mask testing and airborne bio-surveillance. We are the market leader in our more mature product lines, and we are a new entrant to some exciting new markets to be developed. Our business has global reach, with more than half of our sales outside the United States. But we are still a small company (about 50 employees) with significant room for growth and numerous opportunities for business expansion.

POSITION OVERVIEW



We are in the early days of building and executing an ambitious growth strategy that involves strengthening our core business in HEPA filter leak detection testing for cleanrooms while broadening our product lines and technology portfolio, and creating new markets, that will protect People, Products & Critical Infrastructure against CBRNe terrorist attacks. We are looking for a Global Marketing & Communications Manager who is a great story-teller – able to communicate the value proposition of our product and services to our target markets.



ATI is still a small company, so this person must be agile, willing to “roll up his/her sleeves” and get things done, while providing sound marketing communication leadership.



Key responsibilities include:



Delivering a Great Customer Experience


  • Understand our Customer’s Journey and support our mission to deliver a quality customer experience from product selection to ongoing service and support. Develop tools to capture and report on the customer experience. Create messaging and marketing collateral to engage the customer at critical “touch points.”


Thought Leadership

Supported by ATI’s Global Product Managers, you will create and deliver content that educates our customers about our solutions and how they deliver value. We need help transferring data into information and using those insights to communicate value to our customers with a mix of message vehicles to create compelling stories (executive and sales presentations), articles for the trade press, technical white papers, application guides, and application-specific ROI calculators or product-selection guides.

Supported by ATI’s Global Product Managers, you will facilitate updates to marketing collateral as required by changes in Regulatory Standards.



Global Marketing & Communications -

  • Manage the execution of marketing communications initiatives including product launches, product and sales collateral, public relations, and internal communications.


  • Develop and oversee a lead generation and attribution program.


  • Solicit customer testimonials. Create channel customer profiles, promoting our channel customers and their use of our products in different applications.


  • Ensure that all marketing communication programs are consistent and aligned with our business strategy. Ensure new communication campaigns and programs are aimed at reaching the right sales targets.


  • Support Global Product Managers by developing tools and a methodology to ensure the proper questions are asked and answered with documentation in the product management process.


  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key reporters/editors, writers from industry trade and media. Develop and maintain online, print and influential blogger editorial calendar. Nurture relationships with trade press (our strong bias is for PR over ad spend). Write and deliver press releases and corporate profiles.


  • Create or polish executive-level presentations.


  • Develop and maintain tradeshow and event calendar.


Digital Marketing

  • Support the development of a digital marketing strategy, content creation, and customer experience. Provide direction and leadership on digital/SEM. Review and analyze Google Analytics and provide direction on enhancing our customer experience on line.


  • Maintain company profile and updates on Linkedin, Glassdoor and select websites to attract top talent.


Global Marketing & Communications Management

Perform a variety of management responsibilities including but not limited to: supervision of a Marketing Coordinator, annual planning and budget preparation, management of day-to-day operations of the department, and assisting Global Product Managers with the marketing aspect of their budgets.



Internal Communications



·


Support the development of internal marketing communications as needed to promote employee engagement (e.g. signage, posters, town hall communications, etc.)



Key Performance Indicators:


  • Develop and track metrics that are understandable and actionable. Key metrics focus on qualified leads and the cost of generating them, lifetime value of customers, return on marketing investment, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction ratings.


Specific key initiatives include:


  • ATI has developed a very basic Knowledge Center for our customers, but need an experienced Global Marketing & Communications Manager who has the vision, ability, and experience to develop a best-in-class Knowledge Center with video demos, interactive content, and multi-media content. Develop a platform and help deliver best-in-class training webinars.




  • Develop and oversee a lead generation and attribution program. Develop recommendations on cost-effective CRM modules. Define and integrate work- and data-flows into our sales and marketing processes.




  • Develop and implement a system enabling ATI to collect, report, and improve the Key Performance Indicators listed above.


  • Work with the Leadership team and Global Product Managers to Map the Customer Journey, and help develop and execute a plan to acquire new customers, develop great experiences at each touchpoint, and build raving fans. Develop tools to capture and report on the customer experience. Create messaging and marketing collateral to engage the customer at critical “touch points.”


  • Define, develop and implement corporate branding standards across the global organization.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS



Well-qualified candidates will possess the following, skills, experience and traits:


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. MBA preferred.


  • Minimum of 7 years Marketing & Communications Management experience.


  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience. The Global Marketing & Communications Manager will supervise an inhouse Marketing Coordinator (website development, graphic arts, design capabilities) and manage outside vendors.


  • Minimum 2 years of experience developing and maintaining effective relationships with key reporters/editors, writers from industry trade and media.


  • Experience managing corporate website performance, including reviewing and analyzing Google Analytics. Provide direction and leadership on digital/SEM.


  • Experience overseeing a lead generation and attribution program.


  • Data driven.


  • Experience leading corporate re-branding campaigns, preferred but not required.


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. We need someone who can create crisp, clear, concise copy.


  • Some technical acumen required as you will need to understand the company’s products, markets, industry regulations and applications. Experience with industrial, B2B channel marketing preferred.


  • Demonstrated experience with data visualization.


  • Conscientious, highly organized, and a keen attention to detail.


  • Excellent project management skills – ability to break down a major initiative into tasks and drive execution to schedule and budget, and in a manner that engages the team members.


  • Proven marketing leader; comfortable working under minimal supervision and able to execute and improve on the direction and objectives agreed with the senior leadership.


  • Leads by example and with humility. High EQ. Engages with colleagues and customers positively and collaboratively, seeking out and being open to feedback from all directions and sources. Loves learning and personal improvement.


  • Solves problems (doesn’t just observe them), and is driven to continually improve the company’s position and strategic growth efforts.


  • A sense of humor. (The work is demanding and rewarding, but we like to have fun too).


  • Ability to travel as required, meeting with customers and distributors to develop a deep understanding of the business, visit branch offices, attend shows and conferences, etc. Both domestic and international travel is required, sometimes involving weekends.
