The EMS Outreach Coordinator will engage in EMS interface and act as a hospital Emergency Department Liaison. The EMS Outreach Coordinator position is aimed at increasing the number of new patients being referred to the hospital by EMS. The Coordinator will ensure branded and professional representation of the hospital Emergency Department at all times.
Current or previous EMS experience.
High School Diploma/GED Proficiency in MS Office Suite, computer applications.
Flexibility to travel within a specified region.
In addition, must have an understanding of the workings of the EMS community and care provided by EMS.
Must have adequate written communication skills. Must have excellent verbal skills.
Must be adept at communicating with other professionals either individually or in a group.
Must be capable of effectively conducting presentations that are of an educational or marketing nature.
Strong clinical knowledge.
Leader in past roles.
Consumer and product awareness.
Proficient with computers.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Attentive to detail and accuracy.
ER, Fire, and or Ambulance experience.
