Reports to: General Manager u00a0 Supervises: N/A u00a0 Job Summary: Responsible for cultivating and promoting the image of the casino in a positive way and building positive public relationships with local and surrounding communities. Will lead and manage all KLEC team member culture projects on an ongoing basis and assist with the delivery and implementation of the MAD Program. u00a0 Essential Functions: Identify and cultivate relationships with local community and business organizations and key community leaders as well as appointed and elected officialsu00a0 Engage in projects that require casino participation including but not limited to volunteering at events, awards, executive honors, special trade issues, and tables at key industry functions.u00a0 Represent the casino by participation and membership on nonprofit organization boards and committee. Blanket relevant communities with marketing collateral. Participate in community events to keep the casino's image favorably in the public eye while indirectly helping to market specific promotions.u00a0 Attend civic, nonprofit, and community group meetings, to make speeches, or to represent the casino at an event.u00a0 Maintain and create open lines of communication with all community organizations and community sub-groups.u00a0 Maintain and update a file of community organizations and their officers, mailing lists of community groups and public affairs personnel.u00a0 Monitor the day-to-day administration of project programs and service plan to ensure goals are met; address areas needing revision or improvement. Maintain ongoing communications with project sponsor and participate as an active member of the project teams. Meet monthly with project committee to review programs around safety, culture and rewards and recognition; propose and develop new team member events. Document and follow up on the results of any mystery shopping programs or service measurement cards. Serve as the MAD coach for all levels of KLEC team members; work collaboratively with department leaders to perpetually identify and recognize MAD skills in action; maintain a perpetual focus on the MAD Program. Other Functions: Attend and participate in all department and casino mandatory meetings as required. Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training classes as assigned and required. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands : This position is regularly required to sit for extended periods, also standing, walking, bending, reaching with hands and arms, talking and listening on a regular basis can be expected. Concentration for extended periods of time will occur regularly. Specific vision ability required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Effective communications in in person or using telecommunication equipment is required at all times. Hand-eye coordination and the manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, touch-screen display, telephone and calculator is required at all times. The ability to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 25 lbs. is required. Work Environment : Work will be performed in a temperature controlled, smoke free environment, under florescent lighting with primarily low noise levels. A frequent presence may be required to perform work on the casino floor or areas open to the casino floor which is a smoke-filled environment with low to high noise levels and low to high levels of florescent and other lighting.u00a0 Occasional presence will be required in back-of-house locations of the casino as well.u00a0 Occasional periods of working under high pressure and for long hours under stressful conditions can be expected.u00a0 Occasional exposure to risk associated with attempting to resolve issues with difficult guests and irate team members may occur.u00a0 Traveling away from the casino by land or air motorized vehicle may randomly be required. Required Criteria : At least five (5) years of experience in casino marketing with at least three (3) of those years at the director or manager level. At least two (2) years of experience in public relations. Experience working with media entities and Chambers of Commerce. Experience developing and implementing guest service programs across multiple departments. Experience executing mystery shopping programs and a results-based follow up methodology. Must demonstrate conversational Spanish verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate effective English verbal and written communication skills.u00a0 Must be at least 18 years of age.u00a0 Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission Gaming License, including successful completion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain License. Responsible to keep all documents current and valid at all times.u00a0 Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.u00a0 Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.u00a0 Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, holidays and/or extended hours if required.
