Position Summary:
Partner with sales producers, practice group leaders and in-house graphic designers to create, edit and improve placemats, sell sheets, PowerPoint presentations, bylines and other collateral.
Help create sales presentation materials in a variety of formats
Oversee physical production of sales and presentation materials
Serve as liaison for producers, branch managers and others with Gallagher vendors (ie InnerWorking).
Serve as project manager and liaison between producer and DCN, serving as point of contact, overseeing process in WorkFront.
Create proposed materials, within brand standards, to propose to DCN and regional and BSD marketing.
Work with Gallagher branding standards to help producers and other professionals improve important client documents and become brand compliant.
Navigate Gallagher’s extensive information network – Gallagher One, Salesforce, Chatter and AJG.com; build contacts to find and disseminate information to support marketing and BOR team projects.
Create and improve tracking systems for proposal responses, presentation, collateral and other marketing projects (including weekly marketing team check-in meetings, and preparation for at least one monthly update with branch manager)
Be well-versed in Gallagher’s BSD retail brokerage practice groups, especially the areas of focus for the Boston branch and Northeast region (Life Science, Energy, PE, DI/FR, Environmental, Technology, etc.).
Improve and maintain resume and biography library; coordinate and share information when needed with WorkFront department.
Track department progress and assist with reporting to monitor production, department goals and track output according to set parameters.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in marketing communications or similar field
3 or more years related experience
Work Traits:
Strong marketing and communication strategy skills
Knowledge of branding/corporate identity principles
Strong project management skills
Strong visual thinker with graphic design vocabulary
Strong writing skills with excellent mastery of grammar.
Ability to learn and synthesize complex information quickly and then move on to an entirely new project
Ability to juggle multiple projects and work under deadline pressure
Critical thinking and ability to work independently without much supervision
Strong interviewing, listening and researching skills to work with account team to find the details that will matter and make a difference
Organization skills a must
Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite a must
