Quality Oil Company, LLC, a family owned and debt free company based in Winston-Salem, NC, is now seeking an experienced, dynamic, and goal driven eCommerce & Digital Marketing Specialist for our award-winning hospitality division. We currently own and operate eight distinguished Hilton branded hotels that are located in the Southeast, which include limited service, extended stay, and full service properties.
The eCommerce & Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting and coordinating assigned activities, projects, and campaigns relating to the day-to-day, hands-on implementation of online marketing strategies to meet and exceed property financial goals. This position will research, plan, create, implement, maintain, and analyze all eCommerce, digital marketing, and social media campaigns for the hotel portfolio.
This position will report directly to the Director of Business Development. This position will also work closely with the Director of Marketing and Regional Sales Directors.
Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns to marketing team and department heads
Manage content updates to branded websites, keeping all information and content up to date by using brand tools, content management systems and/or external resources. Content must be engaging, fresh, and position each hotel relative to competitive set.
Research, compare, and evaluate hotels against competitive set, including, but not limited to: organic, local, and paid search placement; onsite merchandising; social media; rate retailing; etc.
Monitor, maintain, and manage social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, etc. for the hotel portfolio; maintain the company’s excellent online reputation.
Create, schedule, edit, and distribute relevant content across social media platforms to attract new customers and increase public awareness, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, PIM, ResMax, Google, brand.com, etc.
Develop, maintain, and ensure digital content meets and/or exceeds Hilton’s requirements; monitor report cards and content audits from Hilton and resolve any issues in a timely manner as needed.
Communicate via social media with customers on a daily basis; must be at least four times per week for each property.
Assist in creating a regular marketing calendar
Support Director of Business Development, Director of Marketing, and Regional Sales Directors in execution of search engine optimization updates and tracking of key performance indicators for organic traffic
Brainstorm with the Director of Business Development, Director of Marketing, and Regional Sales Directors on new ideas and initiatives
Liaise with Director of Marketing and sales teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency
Conduct regular audits of OTA sites to ensure each hotel is optimized with high quality images, compelling content, and links
Execute marketing tactics in the digital space to grow organic visits and optimize website
Analyze performance data as well as content and make necessary changes to achieve marketing objectives as determined by Director of Business Development and/or Director of Marketing
Maintain awareness of all applicable brand standards and guidelines
Maintain a current knowledge of the products and services that the company has to offer
Make website updates, including photos, menus, restaurant hours, etc. when required
Stay abreast of market drivers and movements in the local area surrounding each hotel and apply this knowledge to work completed
Work with properties and revenue management teams to determine specific need areas, including, but not limited to, group offers for brand.com
Assist in the pre-opening strategy and protocol designed to maximize ramp-up and drive visibility of new hotels
Maintain clear lines of communication with property leaders, corporate team, and external agency resources
Participate in corporate and hotel level meetings
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing; identify trends and insights.
Coordinate imagery production
Create, maintain, and publish newsletters as needed
Prior eCommerce and/or Digital Marketing experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge of the hospitality industry is strongly preferred
Working knowledge of Wordpress content management system
Experience with SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google My Business
Prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
Deep understanding of digital and social marketing trends and strategies
Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be able to communicate with a variety of different people to create effective content
