General Summary The Marketing Manager provides management level leadership and implementation of marketing, communications, media relations, event sponsorship, brand management and audience development for the Alzheimer's Association Greater Wisconsin. They develop, execute and monitor the marketing communication plan in alignment with the Association's strategic plan. Additionally, they will oversee recruitment, training, supervision, and coaching of chapter staff and volunteers. This position contributes to the shared mission of the Development and Program & Advocacy Directors and collaborates with them to jointly achieve organization-wide and Chapter goals. This position is based in De Pere, WI and reports to the Executive Director. Essential Job Functions Ensures integration of marketing strategies and opportunities in relation to the organization's operational and strategic planPromotes Association-wide programs and initiatives in compliance with all Association branding policies, procedures, standards and applicable regulatory requirements Manages communication and print material including advertising, media relations, web content and design as well as strategies for media/spokesperson developmentEstablishes, maintains and enhances relationships with constituents, media & community partners, corporations and other key stakeholder groups across the region Manages all brand activities; guides and oversees Association staff on key messages, promotion events, appeal and educational mailings, web and other communications as assignedWorks with Executive Director, Board and other staff and volunteers to position the Association and its services to maximize public awareness, development and business opportunitiesPartners with regional office staff to identify and build the Association's presence and access in rural areasRepresents the Association at appropriate public events, conferences, and workshopsBuilds communication plan/tools for key volunteers to promote the Association through media partnerships, committees, etc.Provides media relations for Association and serves as primary media contactDevelops and maintains current listing of media contacts throughout the region; disseminates press updates, news releases, and feature materialsDesigns and implements communications and public relations initiatives to build awareness of the organization’s mission, programs and achievementsGenerates opportunities to increase awareness and financial support for the Association by collaborating on fundraising events and program services initiativesDefines metrics and monitors the effectiveness of marketing efforts against strategic goalsCreates, produces and distributes marketing materials including advertising, brochures, press kits, newsletter and other promotional materials; writes articles and designs layoutManages and allocates marketing budgetsRepresents chapter's Marketing Department at National level Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred; may also include health care, development or related field; or related work experience3-5 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, development or business-related fieldExcellent written and verbal communications skills, including confident presentation and public speaking abilitiesStrong organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detailStrong critical thinking and creative skills to anticipate and solve problems independently and collaborativelyProven success building and maintaining key relationships with internal and external constituents to meet strategic goalsFamiliarity with Convio, RedDot CMS, and/or Personify a plusExperience recruiting, training, and supervising staff and volunteers preferredProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and social mediaAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with flexibility and good humorAbility and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed Ability and willingness to travel within the Chapter's region as neededMust possess valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle and proof of insuranceAbility to lift and carry up to 25lbs Send your resume and cover letter:by mail: Send resume to: Alzheimer's Association, Greater Wisconsin3313 S Packerland DrSte EDe Pere, WI 54115If apply ing by e-mail, please attach your resume andcover letter as Microsoft Word documents, or includeboth within the text of your e-mail message.We are an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employerand we appreciate your interest in the Alzheimer's Association.
