The individual in this role will be supporting the development and editing of proposal content and ensuring compliance with government requirements. Responsibilities: Provide proposal coordination support on large government agency proposalsu00a0 Manage development of proposals and task order responsesu00a0 Coordinate Past Performance, Capabilities and Resumes with the ability to act as volume lead for these sections of a proposalu00a0 Develop proposal styles, format, graphics, covers, and spinesu00a0 Provide RFP analysis, compliance matrix, proposal outline, and scheduleu00a0 Coordinate and support proposal resources In collaboration with the proposal manager, track, and report status on author assignments for proposal sections Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information and coordinating submissions and collections ` Maintain content in proposal library Coordinate and support kickoff, reviews, and debriefsu00a0 Checking proposal materials against solicitation requirements, current corporate, departmental, and solicitation-specific standards to ensure complianceu00a0 Consistently apply corporate formatting and editing standards Edit/proofread completed proposals for consistency and quality, including compelling content, grammar, spelling, and graphical layout Ability to assist with Desktop Publishing is a major plus Required Skills: Bachelor ' s degree and a minimum of three yearsu2019 experience supporting the research, development, and proposal preparation of business opportunities in a government contracting environmentu00a0 Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Powerpoint, with expertise in Word, including styles and embedded objects Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detailu00a0 Mastery and skill with the English language, including grammar, structure, punctuation, and spelling.u00a0 Excellent formatting, writing and editing skills Must have well developed verbal and written communications skills as well as familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and proposal development process.u00a0 Must have excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.u00a0 Must possess the ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and multi-task.u00a0 Ability to interact with wide range of personnel including upper management, consultants, and subject matter experts.u00a0 Ability to work in a demanding, competitive environment.u00a0 Ability to work in a collaborative manner on all aspects of proposal planning and implementation.u00a0 Ability to quickly compile and present information from disparate sources in pressure situations Ability to strengthen sections of a proposal by writing, revising, and editing drafts to include Executive Summariesu00a0 Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Adobe Professional Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (to include Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) preferred Bachelor's degree in Communications, English or Marketing (or equivalent experience) We actively practice the philosophy that empowered employees make successful teams.
