We are looking for a Video Production Coordinator Temp to help in both editorial content for LIVESTRONG.COM as well as branded video productions for Leaf Group. The initial term of the temp assignment will be 3 months with the possibility of extending or being transitioned to a full time employee based on performance.

You’ll Report To: Director of Photography & Video Editor
A typical day as a Video Production Coordinator Temp might include:
Managing production calendars and participating in morning overview meetings.
Organizing paperwork and communicating with freelancers, accounting and legal to facilitate payment and/or signature of contracts.
Maintaining budgets and tracking billing to outside vendors & freelancers, which includes building wrap books for every video shoot.
Handling catering for video and photoshoots, as well as any runs that need to be done before or during a shoot.
Building Call Sheets for productions and maintain daily production schedules.
Collaborating with producers to meet the needs of Production and Post Production.
Arranging meetings and talent travel for production.
Coordinating with rental houses both in and out of town to facilitate production travel.
Supervising production assistants and directing their daily activities.
You’ll be successful if you
 have real world production experience and the ability to prep for every eventuality whether it happens or not. A keen eye to detail and clear communication will aid immensely in your ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
What You Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in film, communications, marketing, or management.
Internships at television stations or production companies are an asset.
Previous experience as a production coordinator or at least 2 years as a PA in commercial and/or branded video.
Familiarity with all aspects of production to facilitate effective communication.
Superb organizational and time management skills.
Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints.
Talent for anticipating needs.
Professional judgment for handling confidential information.
Excellent written and spoken verbal communications; professional telephone etiquette.
Adept at general administrative tasks like budgeting, data entry, and word processing.
Means of transportation and superb driving and navigation.
Attention to detail and a rock star attitude.
Proficient with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
Superb Mac operating system skills.
Must be proficient with google sheets, docs, and calendar.
Not afraid to wear multiple hats - no job being too small or too large.
