ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following:\r

\tFacilitate All Levels of Teller Training (35%)—train all new Retail branch staff, including personal bankers and branch managers on basic Bank teller procedures and processes.  Advanced teller procedures for all levels of tellers to include the Lead CSR.  This would include having documentation to support the training process, as well as structured training lesson plans and formal evaluation\/assessment\/certification.  Accountable for validation of career path completion.\r

\tPersonal Banker Training (15%)—begin coordination process with the long-term goal of developing and documenting curriculum for this training effort, including evaluation\/assessment\/certification.  This includes having documentation to support the training process, as well as structured training lesson plans and formal evaluations\/assessments.  Curriculum should include, but not be limited to, IRA Basics, IRA Refresher, HSA Training, , New Accounts, Business Accounts, CSO Credit Insurance Sales, FDIC Training, Taking a Loan Application, Consumer Lending Product Profiles & Rate Quotes, Loan Underwriting, Loan Closing, and Loan Applications.\r

\tBranch Manager Training (5%)—begin coordination process with the long-term goal of developing and documenting curriculum for this training effort, including evaluation\/assessment\/certification. Curriculum should include, but not be limited to, IRA Basics, IRA Refresher, HSA Training, Sales Process, Special Accounts,  New Accounts, Business Accounts, CSO Credit Insurance Sales, FDIC Training, Taking a Loan Application, Consumer Lending Product Profiles & Rate Quotes, Loan Underwriting, Loan Closing, and Loan Applications as needed.  Key among those skills will be how to effectively lead their teams—to evaluation and coach their staff members—from basic job role skills though evaluating core customer service and Moments of Truth on their staff members.\r

\tProcess\/Procedure Updating and Training (15%)—get feedback from Branch Managers, branch staff, IT & Operations and anyone else who interacts with Retail as to issues they see with consistency of Retail branch processes and procedures.  Use that information to coordinate development and execution of training for all Retail branches on using the correct processes and procedures.  Follow up quarterly to ensure current processes and procedures are being followed and to review issues with those processes and procedures. Attend Deposit operations\/Retail, Procedure Squad, Branch Manager, and Lead meetings.\r

\tSoft Skills Training (10%) – deliver soft skill training sessions on 101-level topics including but not limited to Business Etiquette, Business Writing, and Diversity.\r

\r
\r
\tProduct Mastery Training (5%)—deliver and document curriculum for these training topics, including evaluation\/assessment\/ certification.  This includes having documentation to support the training process, as well as structured training lesson plans and formal evaluations\/assessments.\r
\r
\r
 \r
\r
\r
\tBranch Support and On-site Coaching (5%)—Assist with hands-on in branch training and support of all Retail Staff.\r
\r
\r
 \r
\r
\r
\tConduct New Hire Orientation and onboarding process for new hires (10%) – Initial new hire process including paperwork and onboarding process, as well as orientation.\r
\r
\r
 \r
\r

QUALIFICATIONS:\r

\tBachelor’s degree in Communication, Organizational Development or related field or equivalent experience desired.\r

 \r
\r
\r
\tExperience developing training curriculums strongly preferred.\r
\r
\r
 \r
\r
\r
\t3-5 years’ organizational development or training experience, preferably in the banking industry; Retail Training experience strongly preferred.\r
\r
\r
 \r
\r
\r
\tExperience with variety of adult learning, performance and development techniques strongly preferred.\r
\r
\r
 \r
\r
\r
\tBe able to demonstrate strong organizational and collaborative skills.\r
\r
\r
 \r
\r
\r
\tBe able to demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills\r
\r
\r
 \r
\r
\r
\tBe able to demonstrate strong project management skills.\r
\r
\r
 \r
\r
\r
\tBe able to demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\r
\r

\r
\r
\tKnowledge of standard bank products strongly preferred.\r
\r
\r
