The Senior Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for the overall management of B2C channel and customer campaigns across:
• SOHO printing (inkjet and laser) and scanning
• Supplies (ink and toner)
• Labeling (P-touch) categories
This position needs to clearly communicate the value of Brother document imaging and labeling technologies, and is expected to demonstrate leadership, effectively direct communications agencies, and to lead, plan, develop and implement communications campaigns leveraging internal and external resources.
This role will manage advertising creative development and media planning, as well as have influence on social media programs, end-user and channel events and content development. This position will work in conjunction with other teams in marketing communications as well as product marketing, channel and sales, to deliver effective integrated marketing communications campaigns.
Of paramount importance is the constant drive to utilize all marketing communication resources to help meet Brother B2C sales targets. This includes a keen understanding of best practices in awareness and lead generation advertising (digital and offline) efforts, social media, SEM/SEO, related customer touch points and the ability to quantify ROI for upper management.
Implement strategic initiatives and strengthen collaboration with product marketing, channel marketing and sales to ensure deliverables meet goals, objectives and expectations.
Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of comprehensive communications programs that will increase the organization’s image and brand position within the marketplace – executing such programs within the framework of a customer’s omni-channel experience.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams – from creative, content and web and production to marketing and legal – driving and creating effective communications strategies
Create communications reporting/analytics dashboards and/or presentations for key stakeholders
Manage internal teams to obtain necessary consent and providing final approval on all communications materials and plans
Oversee and directly manage external agency resources for social media programs, advertising and media placement including on-going planning, quality assurance, execution and reporting
Ability to drive an overall project management process and to effectively manage deadlines and budgets
Should have experience in creative development (Agency and internal staff) and be able to apply that knowledge to enhance the customer experience
Responsibility to track & measure campaigns, based on appropriate metrics
Work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction
Experience in broadcast (TV and/or radio) production
