We are looking for a Junior Video Buyer to join our NYC office. The Junior Video Buyer will help inform video strategies and support day-to-day execution across all video channels with a focus on traditional TV buying, connected TV campaigns and online video to consistently and successfully deliver on client objectives. The Junior Video Buyer should be innately curious about the video landscape and the evolution of video\/TV consumption habits in today\u2019s marketplace. The Junior Video Buyer will directly support the VP and Group Director of Video, as well as the holistic integrated media team, with primary responsibilities within research, video schedule development, schedule stewardship, optimization, analysis and billing. This position requires management of day-to-day relationships with clients and external partners, and demands accurate record keeping on all accounts. This position requires that the candidate be a self-starter, extremely organized, detail oriented and highly motivated. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities while managing client expectations, timelines and coordination between various resources. Responsibilities Include: Assist senior video team in creating and executing video plans that are designed to deliver key brand goals and objectives \u00a0Issue hold and order communication to key vendors, develop buy authorizations and insertion orders via buying systems Support team in trafficking\/QA process of creative prior to campaign launch Actively monitor stewardship, deliver tracking reports and supply post-buy details to align with client needs \u00a0Distribute, modify and oversee advertiser campaigns to certify delivery of established client goals and network guarantees Communicate\/implement updates to creative rotations or message allocations based on client schedule needs Maintain invoice clearing and client billing, including discrepancy reconciliation while ensuring accurate record keeping and financial tracking Meet with media partners to stay abreast of emerging trends, latest offerings and media technologies in order to inform internal partners and client teams. Work with cross-functional departments to ensure flawless execution of all media campaigns. Requirements: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in related field 1 year of related video media experience or internship at a media agency Fluent in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel General knowledge of industry tools such as MediaOcean\/Prizma, Strata, Nielsen, etc. Familiarity with video buying terminology and buying models such as CPP, CPM, TRP\u2019s\/GRP\u2019s, etc. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills and strong attention to detail Exceptional organizational and time management skills Exhibits interest in keeping up with emerging technologies and cross-screen video marketing trends Demonstrates ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously. Proven client service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skills. Ability to consistently perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment as an individual on a team. Aptitude to analyze data and deeply understanding of measurement practices, 3rd party measurement companies and web analytics.
