Job Description: $60\/Hour 1 Year Contract Qualification: Excellent written and verbal communication skills \u2022 Experience o Creating segmented messaging or communications o Creating content expressly for digital production, such as web or iPad applications o Coordination of content translations o Managing team of writers and\/or proofreaders o Experience in healthcare\/medical writing a plus \u2022 Development of organizational processes\/workflow \u2022 Excellent organization skills and attention to detail \u2022 Client service oriented \u2022 Strong contributor and collaborator in a team environment MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Qualifying for this position normally requires the following: \u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in communications, journalism, English, or related field \u2022 Excellent knowledge of PC-based software programs (e.g., Adobe, Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with Mac environment a plus \u2022 Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience developing content at an agency, production house, pharmaceutical or medical device company, medical education firm, or in a related field Potential candidates will be asked to provide portfolio samples after pre-screening Responsibility: RESPONSIBILITIES: \u2022 Manage assigned project activities among writers and proofreaders \u2022 Recruit and manage copywriting and proofreading consultants \u2022 Create and write original content as required \u2022 Develop and implement processes for creating consistent, high-quality written content across projects and over time \u2022 Oversee preparation of manuscripts for translation and quality assurance of translated content \u2022 Interface with Account Supervisor and Representatives and Marketing Communications teams \u2022 Review project scope with Account Representatives and Marketing Communications agents to ensure content requirements are understood \u2022 Communicate scope, timelines and objective, corporate style, existing templates (e.g., manuscript template) to editorial staff to ensure adherence to guidelines, templates and best practices \u2022 Assess team bandwidth and manage resources accordingly \u2022 Provide written and verbal status reports to all team members weekly; attend weekly status meetings \u2022 Proactively identify issues and present recommendations for solutions \u2022 Adhere to Creative Services policies and procedures \u2022 Other duties as assigned KEY SUCCESS FACTORS \u2022 Ensures the accurate and timely delivery of high-quality content for all projects \u2022 Manages and maintains network of editorial talent with superior experience, performance and credentials \u2022 Develops and maintains key relationships with account team, writers, proofreaders and clients \u2022 Adheres to and supports departmental procedures \u2022 Advises of anticipated developments that will impact deadlines and devises mitigation plans
