UNC-TV, Public Media North Carolina, is actively seeking a Director of Marketing Communications with an emphasis on strategic integrated marketing plans and a proven track-record of performance. This role must be able to provide leadership and support to diverse digital publishing platforms and teams. The director will have hands-on management responsibility for all marketing, communications and creative services functions that support Public Media North Carolina and its brands (UNC-TV, The North Carolina Channel, Rootle and UNC-EX). The successful candidate will use analytics, set goals, monitor work, provide feedback and evaluate results to ensure departmental objectives and operating requirements are consistently met, effectively communicated and are in line with the needs and mission of Public Media North Carolina.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience in marketing and communications (which includes at least five (5) years managing a team), strong familiarity with integrated campaigns, project management and forms of digital marketing and communications; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
