Marketing Content Coordinator – Marketing (Catholic Health):

The Marketing Content Coordinator cultivates meaningful marketing content which will resonate with people across the region. This position assists with informing our regional community of the latest healthcare options available to them through various media platforms, including social media, the Catholic Health website, newsletters, and occasional print material.

The Marketing Content Coordinator will help research and create relevant content for key patient care services within the organization. This position will collaborate with subject matter experts throughout Catholic Health to bring to life our care initiatives, as well as develop content about general wellness and healthy living. Responsible to promote interest and engagement with Catholic Health services, while establishing a genuine connection between our organization and fellow Western New Yorkers.

Director, Digital Strategy and Online Services

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or other related field required

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of one (1) – five (5) years of experience in social media, digital marketing or communications

KOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail and passion for reaching the community

Working knowledge of various technologies for publishing across media channels

Understanding of digital trends, focused on social media trends and use of effective digital ad space

General knowledge of content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or Drupal

Experience with SEO/SEM strategies (optimizing keywords, meta descriptions, etc.)

Ability to use graphic design programs to create/edit content (including Adobe Creative Suite or similar)

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously

A team player with the ability to work independently

Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines

Demonstrated ability to work with senior executives and highly trained professionals

General understanding of public and media relations

Proficient in office automation technology (MS Office Suite; MS Outlook, etc.)
