Profile

Are you a marketer with a love of games and storytelling? The Xbox Marketing Team is seeking an Integrated Marketing Communications Manager for first party games. This person will help drive campaigns from strategy through to execution, partnering with game developers, agencies and internal marketing and PR teams.

This role will lead the creation of fully integrated marketing campaigns that launch and sustain games being produced/published by Microsoft Game Studios. You will lead in the creation of integrated marketing plans, develop campaign creative briefs, oversee asset production and partner with teams to hit all customer touch points.

The ideal person will have a proven track record of delivering compelling creative, integrated consumer marketing strategies and have a true passion for gaming and the entertainment industry. You will be adept at working across a large and highly complex organization with multiple stakeholders and will have partnered with outside agencies to deliver campaigns on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

Campaign development and production:

Contribute to global campaign strategies and help develop integrated marketing plans that drive key business metrics for multiple game titles on an annual basis.

Collaborate with agency partners and internal teams on campaign development, video and digital production for campaigns and key event-related assets.

Develop key consumer-facing messaging and copy that can be used consistently across all integrated marketing channels on a global level.

Lead the naming, logo and visual identity development, from partnering with studio teams on the brief through to trademark clearances and global distribution.

Assist in the development and distribution of key campaign documents, including authoring the integrated marketing plan, campaign creative briefs, etc.

Seek out and recommend new way to bring our titles to life and challenge norms.

Cross-team collaboration and project management:

Partner with teams at strategic and tactical levels to insure successful implementation in key global markets and across all retail channels.

Build and maintain partnerships with product marketing, studio teams, Game Pass marketing, etc.

Partner with internal teams and agencies to successfully launch campaigns across all media channels.

Budget oversight and management across multiple deliverables.

Maintaining compliance with legal, ESRB, Geo Political and on creative content approvals and clearances.

Qualifications

7 years of advertising and/or brand and campaign development experience.

5 years of experience working with or for an agency, with a demonstrative portfolio of work.

Experience developing campaigns for console games or a similar consumer entertainment field.

Experience with large-scale video/ TV, digital, print, and other production.

Must be nimble enough to negotiate with multiple stakeholders, be able to defend work, and also know when to accept direction.

Must know how to get work done within a large and complex organization involving multiple stakeholders.

A strong drive for results, with a proven track record, often delivering under tight deadlines.

Budget management experience and the ability to manage large scale production budgets across multiple products and timelines.

Strong preference for those who love pop culture, value comradery and have insatiable curiosity
