Sales & Outreach Assistant Manager
The Retail Sales & Outreach Assistant Manager is a position designed to facilitate outside sales and community engagement opportunities. The Assistant Manager will be assigned to a store and will split their schedule between covering at least two shifts a week and using the remaining shifts to engage schools, instructors and community Art related Organizations.
Promote Blick in the market through direct meetings and communications designed to drive sales from local instructors and their students.
Responsible for driving revenue by providing outstanding customer service, helpful product knowledge and building long-lasting customer relationships
Conduct face-to-face meetings with key prospects, customers and market influencers.
Provide customer feedback to management
Working with market General Managers for sales maintenance and improvement of existing customers
Working with market General Managers for creation and execution of marketing events and community outreach opportunities.
Work with other national team members to coordinate sales and marketing events at customer sites, i.e. campuses. Train staff on selling and marketing on campuses during critical back to school timeframes.
All other tasks as assigned by the District Manager, Direct Sales Managers and Director of Stores.
Must have a proven track record of exceptional sales experience and be highly motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
Team player with strong initiative and ability to quickly build extensive knowledge of product offerings and that of competitors
Experience in the art materials industry a plus
4-year degree preferred but not required.
Willingness to travel as required (40-60% locally is anticipated)
