Pluralsight is looking for an experienced communicator and spokesperson, who excels in turning ad hoc issues into opportunities by using intellectual horsepower and strategic agility aligned with the vision and strategy of Pluralsight.
You are responsible for reputation management by building and managing relations with key journalists, policy makers and other key stakeholders.
Help develop the strategy for and lead the team in execution of Pluralsight’s corporate and business stories such as business initiatives, International growth, Social Impact efforts, and People and Places team.
Ensure PR strategy is aligned with business initiatives and coordinated closely with marketing, and other teams, acting as a bridge to collaborate with teams across these functions on media strategy, events, social media initiatives and more.
Responsible for press releases, Q&As, messaging, coordinating brand/programming activities including presentation and media events.
Identify relevant industry events and conferences to increase visibility, and identify appropriate speaking opportunities to define the company's leadership in this area.
Influencer Strategy: Drive strategy and programs, that bring customer and credible 3rd party voices into our efforts, perhaps extending to events or groups we establish and maintain as channels for influence ongoing.
Liaise with the larger Pluralsight communications team to ensure alignment in corporate positioning, joint activities and representation where applicable
10 years experience in communications and/or public relations, including a track record of getting media to engage in a complex space
Strong strategic thinker who can craft and convey a great story
Experience working with high profile talent
Driven, self-starter who thrives on seeing big results
Scrappy innovator who will roll up their sleeves
Great editor with strong copywriting skills
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, or writing-intensive discipline and/or equivalent work experience

Salary range: 107950 - 127000 USD
