Join our team of leaders to begin a rewarding career.Wherever you contribute here at McKesson, you will have the ability to make a real impact in the lives of others.Position DescriptionThe Program Manager of Communications for Mergers & Acquisitions will report into the Vice President of Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures.  Under the Total Rewards team, this role is responsible for managing all communications for mergers, acquisitions and divestiture activities. He/she will be the communications lead throughout the process, from due diligence through integration of employees onto McKesson programs. This individual contributor will work in a team environment as a key member of the M&A cross functional team, which includes corporate strategy, Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, HRIT, and BU integration teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities All responsibilities are across the full spectrum of employee experience from integration through onboarding. Supports the team in all integrations of new businesses into McKesson by project managing the communications with the newly acquired business.  This position works with both the corporate M&A group and the BU to develop and deploy communications that meet the new company where it is in terms of knowledge on how to assimilate into a large complex organization.  This role would also coordinate third party McKesson resources such as TA, ER, McKesson for Learning, and enterprise departments for training and will help calibrate the level of training needed for the new group.   Will also assist in employee change management initiatives that are associated with technology changes at acquisition and basic acclimation to McK systems in order to foster productivity on the part of the new business. He/She is responsible for keeping in touch with the integration teams at the BU level to head off issues through knowledge and communication. Will acquire an understanding of the acquired company’s regular communications channel and cadence to leverage throughout the change process.  He/she would keep a milestone map of all workstreams in order to determine where touchpoints should be created and who the appropriate message should come from. Responsible for maintaining a repository of templates that can be repurposed as needed across the enterprise.  Part of the role is assessing the acquired company’s ability to digest changes in partnership with all the other workstreams and helping sequence events knowing that multiple disciplines are also facing the same challenges.
