OverviewnAccess Brand Communications is currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our growing office. The ideal candidate should have an interest in and solid media relations experience with technology media. We are looking for an individual that is not only passionate about emerging tech trends, but also highly motivated and be able to meet deadlines. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with clients, media and account teams.nResponsibilitiesnn Act as primary media contact, play key role in developing and implementing media strategies n Be creative and strategic in the development of programs and pitch angels designed to garner media attentionn Secure high-profile coverage in national business and tech trade outlets including, but not limited to, VentureBeat, CIO.com, BusinessInsider, TechCrunch, Fortune, Forbes, Fast Co., etc.n Work with media including proactive pitching and relationship management.n Demonstrate ability to effectively develop full range of written materials including pitches, press releases, byline articles, speeches, briefing sheets, client correspondence and reportsn Be a hands-on team player adding value, sharing creative ideas, and leveraging media attention as appropriaten Develop strategic recommendations with an eye on earned media goals n Confidence in working with and accompanying C-suite level clients to media interviews, manage their appearances and contribute appropriatelyn Conduct satellite media tours and editorial desk side briefings between clients and journalists in key media markets; knowledge of TV, radio, and print outlets as well as some knowledge about paid media costsn Drive effective implementation of projects, identify appropriate resources, and delegate work appropriatelyn Identify and analyze trends within the tech/corporate tech media landscape, sharing them team and recommending pivot strategies for clients based on these trendsnnQualificationsnIf youu2019re enthusiastic about working with interesting tech clients, and you enjoy being a part of a dynamic account management team, we would love to see your resume if you have the following qualifications:nn Passion for learning;n Excellent written and verbal communication skills;n Exposure to media relations, consumer/b2b tech industry media preferred;n 3 to 4 years PR agency experiencen Strong organizational skillsn Superior written/oral communications skillsn Hands-on client interaction/service experiencen Heavy media relations background, business and trade press contacts a plusnn IND13nAbout UsnFor more than 25 years, weu2019ve helped companies access new audiences in new ways.
