Connect, engage, and enroll prospective students to Mid-State Technical College by maintaining contact from inquiry through enrollment. Duties & Responsibilities Serve as the primary resource for and closely assist and guide students through the enrollment process.Meet with prospective students to provide information about Mid-State and the enrollment process.Conduct extensive outreach to inquiries and leads via phone, email, and mail correspondence.Work collaboratively with Academic Advisors on leading new student advising and registration sessions.Provide campus tours and assist with/conduct special events with prospective students to share general college information and highlight student services for the purpose of enrollment.Engage in one-to-one student recruitment activities including phone, email, social networking, and direct mailing.Input, track, and provide reports on enrollment activity utilizing the customer relationship management (CRM) system.Collaborate with Marketing & Communications department to develop specialized recruitment materials and marketing campaigns for specific audiences.Work with the international student population at the college, including the management of SEVIS reporting (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System).Other duties as assigned.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Education, or related field required. Combination of education and occupational experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree will be given consideration. Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of one year in a college student services environment or service-oriented role.Knowledge of marketing and sales techniques, student recruitment methodologies, and customer relationship management.Ability to work evening and occasional weekend hours.Knowledge of PeopleSoft Student Administration/SIS, Microsoft Office systems, and SalesForce/CRM or ability to learn systems required.Must possess excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.Must possess ability to: Develop and leverage relationships within and across work groups to achieve results. Use effective involvement and persuasion strategies to gain acceptance of ideas and commitment to actions that support specific work outcomes. Meet and exceed (internal or external) customer expectations while cultivating relationships that secure commitment and trust.
