This is an exciting opportunity in Indianapolis, Indiana for a Senior Communications Specialist. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading Supply Chain projects.

Responsible for managing specific communications projects, programs, or initiatives.
Supports communications projects and events as they relate to assigned area.
Analyzes and understands key performance metrics including web metrics and surveys.
Supports the management of internal and external communications including press releases, video, newsletters, and corporate presentations.
Manages the communication activities including technical and/or promotional material writing, product manuals, brochures, etc.
Interacts with business partners to develop and implement integrated communication plans.
Supports the brand communication research and supports the brand strategy and guidelines.
Coaches and mentors less experienced Communications Specialists; may supervise less experienced Communications Specialists.','!*!Skills

Ability to develop graphics, images, or other elements from an idea, words, or an engineering model.
Education, Licenses, CertificationsCollege, university, or equivalent degree in communications, journalism, or a related subject required.
ExperienceIntermediate level of relevant work experience required.
Responsible for developing and executing communications plans for administrative functions including global facilities, aviation, and hospitality. This role will work with Cummins leaders to consult on key messages, deliver communication plans that meet the business objectives, measures success and outcomes. Establish yourself as a key member of the internal communications team.
Develop and execute short and long term communication objectives for the Global Integrated Services – Facilities, Aviation, and hospitality.
Support leaders on the team with strategic communications to internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate and collaborate with Corporate Communications colleagues across business segments and functions to ensure consistent, business-critical communications
Serve as team member for communications related to important company initiatives
Develops communication strategies to meet the needs of the customer including communication plans and collateral material.
Strong writing and editing skills in a variety of formats, including printed material, the web, digital displays and others as required
Knowledge and practical application of communication tools, including web, blogs, social media
Preference for experience in change management tools and techniques.
