Position Summary
Priority Consideration Date: September 4, 2018
The Website Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the content of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. website(s) and working with TCC stakeholders to improve, build and sustain integrity of the website. This work will include writing, editing, proofing, photography and partnering with students, staff, faculty, and the community to produce content that will drive outstanding results for TCC. Additionally, the Website Coordinator will need to work with IT to troubleshoot any website issues. The Website Coordinator will report to the Website Content Manager.
Essential Functions
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a strategic vision for the College's public website that results in high level user-success.
Website Administration

Work with campus community on updating webpages
Maintain schedule to update stale website content
Monitor and correct errors
Ensure website meets WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards, including converting PDFs and other materials to meet standards
Manage website content approval process for users who perform their own web updates
Manage staff and faculty Directory
Implementation of SEO best practices
Use OU Campus content management system to manage TCC website(s)
Support efforts with Portal content
Maintain and improve file structure on the production web server
Website QA and debugging
Interface with CMS vendor on troubleshooting
Ability to convey complex concepts into mobile friendly text and layouts
Creative thinking on how to convey information via the website
Edit photos for website(s)
Ability to write for a mobile website
Photo editing and video editing
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Two (2) years of experience in design, development, implementation, and maintenance of websites or related experience, (Experience may be substituted for the educational requirement).
Knowledge of content management systems, preferably OU Campus
Basic photo and video production skills.
Basic experience with Adobe software.
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Strong written and verbal skills; ability to write brief, engaging stories.
Knowledge of current principles and practices of SEO, website accessibility, and website content.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, English, Marketing or related field from an accredited college or university.
Three (3) years of full time equivalent (FTE) related experience.
Experience solving challenging, creative and technical problems and providing innovative solutions.
Advanced photo and video production skills.
Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Conditions of Employment

Terms of Employment
This is a full time professional exempt position scheduled to work Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Summer hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet the needs of the department. The starting salary of this position is $50,000 to $55,000 annually DOE/DOQ. The salary will be prorated to reflect the actual number of contract days worked in the remainder of the year. Degrees must be from accredited colleges or universities recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and verified by National Student Clearinghouse.
