Job Description Reporting to the SVP, Head of Marketing Communications; this newly created position will translate press releases, internal and external articles, newsletters, blogs, and video projects, among others from English to Spanish. He / she will also serve as the liaison for Corporate Communications and the in-language customer experience team to ensure consistency and an optimal stakeholder experience.Specific responsibilities include: Translate, review, proof, and validate content in context as applicable while adhering to strict style guides, terminology, deadlines, and procedures Conduct post-translation review and spot-checking for language accuracy and consistency, reporting defects, and verifying fixes Partner with the In-Language Customer Experience Team on ad hoc communications projects as needed Analyze legal and/or compliance feedback, acting as a liaison to address any pending issues, and verify feedback implementation by vendors Address corporate communications linguistic queries and consultations from internal clients Write and edit a variety of communications including media releases, talking points, speeches, scripts and stories Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives

5 years of communications experience in one or more of the following disciplines: public relations, media relations or corporate communications
Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in Spanish/English
Other Desired Qualifications Experience writing for national business media as well as diverse/ethnic media, specifically Spanish-language media Experience as a professional translator targeting Spanish-speaking audiences Experience developing compelling Spanish-language content and leveraging multiple channels for creative storytelling Experience with translation and terminology management tools (TradosStudio, WorldServer, SDLX, or equivalent) Experience building strong relationships and working across large and complex organizations Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels Advanced degree in Spanish translation or linguistics
