Data Quality Assurance Analyst
The Data QA Analyst is responsible for reviewing the accuracy of and providing the final approval of all mail and email data files produced by the data team. This includes quality checking of data files, validating file layouts, validating variable fields, confirming tile id logic, and devising test cases to validate results. You'll work with reference materials supplied by the Program Strategist to ensure work produced by Program Analyst is correct as per Data Processing Instructions in terms of logic, deliverables, layout, etc.
Essential Job Functions
- Analyzes and reports on data in text files, MS Excel, MS Access in order to provide final approval of all mail and email files before leaving the data group etc.
- Owns and updates the QA processes and procedures to ensure they reflect the changes in QA requirements for flawless delivery to the clients
- Develops test case scenarios to validate selection logic of data deliverables
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Minimum of 2yrs equivalent experience preferred; automotive data experience desirable.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to organize, schedule and time manage the workflow of several projects simultaneously.
Ability to think and problem-solve under pressure
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize and re-prioritize with limited direction
Excellent communication skills, orally and written
Proficient in MS Office programs including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, experience using Excel pivot tables a plus.
Proficient in analyzing and reporting on data in text files, MS Excel, MS Access.
Past experience providing exemplary service to internal or external clients
Must be able to work on tight deadlines and provide error free products
