M&A and Restructuring Services (MARS) is a Strategic Growth Offering (SGO) that spans all four of Deloitte's functional businesses. The National MARS team supports the cross-functional MARS leadership team by leading and executing strategic projects and initiatives that support our strategy and growth ambition. We play a key role in providing connectivity and building engagement across our complex, multifaceted practice.
Our team seeks a proactive, highly organized and detail-oriented manager to drive awareness and engagement through communications and campaigns. The successful candidate will be a strong writer, team player, and a critical thinker, able to work at both strategic and tactical levels to deliver high-value results.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and facilitate internal and external activities that promote the MARS cross-functional platform; apply project management skills to coordinate, plan and execute a variety of initiatives to inform and engage MARS clients, professionals and stakeholders
Manage MARS-wide communications strategy, planning, and execution, including logistics and content for the quarterly All Hands calls, practice announcements, newsletters, intranet (DeloitteNet) presence, annual Year-End Report, and other communications
Write and/or edit leadership communications, effectively capturing the voice and strategic priorities of MARS executive team
Create talking points, Q&A preparation, video scripts and related deliverables in support of the MARS leadership team's speaking opportunities and meetings
Build the Deloitte MARS brand by supporting the strategic planning, content development, and project management of significant client-facing deliverables, including, but not limited to, our annual M&A Executive Forum, annual M&A Trends Survey, and Deloitte's Total M&A Solution™
Support the strategic planning, content development, execution and measurement of select internal cross-functional events, such as our PPMD Summit and local office Roadshows
Contribute to MARS strategic priorities and create engagement through the development, promotion, and measurement of internal campaigns focused on community, crowdsourcing, and innovation
Develop and maintain best-in-class content for the MARS Pursuit Library, our green dot repository of approved client-ready materials capturing the breadth and depth of the MARS practice
Collaborate with Knowledge Management, Marketing and other internal teams to build broad awareness of MARS' impact, capabilities and success stories
Manage/assist with a variety of other recurring and/or ad hoc projects related to strategic initiatives and priorities
Qualifications
5 years of related experience; client-facing experience in a professional services organization a strong plus
Knowledge of M&A and Restructuring/Performance Improvement preferred, but not required
Bachelor's degree- concentration in business, communications, or related field a plus, but not required
Flexible work style with possible travel (up to 5%-10%)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Sound strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to connect the dots across multiple stakeholders and projects

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,425.00 to $159,165.00.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
