The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Communications provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight of all communications functions at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. The AVP is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of internal, external, media relations and public relations communications to elevate the corporate profile of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (MLH), its physicians and leadership.

Get Involved! This role serves as the lead strategist and spokesperson for crises and incidents, oversees executive communications and develops strategies that showcase MLH’s impact, influence and thought leadership on a regional and national level.

Position: Associate Vice President, Communications

Experience:
Ten years of demonstrated communications leadership experience.
Extensive experience advising senior executives.
Broad experience in strategic communication including communication planning, digital, social, and print media, media and public relations, perception management and crisis management.
Demonstrated thought leadership and continuous learning in the field.
Proven experience in building strong consultative partnerships with diverse people across multiple functions. Must be a strong team player and collaborator.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in the field of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
