Finding the right fit:

We are seeking an energetic, creative communications

leader to coordinate and execute Ayres’ communication strategies guided by Ayres’ core values, focus, vision, and branding.

The integrated communications leader (ICL) will f

ulfill Ayres’ communication needs by managing a process that allows us to proactively assess and build engaging interactions with all audiences in mind. The ICL will bring to life our branding and culture; improve our client, partner, and talent visibility; and enhance how we engage with each other internally.

On any given day, the ICL communications efforts will focus on:

Leading strategy execution and planning of various communication projects.

Managing and implementing a company communications calendar and reputation enhancement program.

Soliciting employee-owner feedback on communications.

Coordinating interaction with internal and external audiences, including:

Internal:

Corporate strategic initiatives

Crisis/emergency communications

Routine companywide communications

Company news and events

Company newsletter

Retention efforts

Speeches/announcements

External:

Recruitment/marketing campaigns

Client marketing campaigns

Corporate magazines

Social media posts

Company-sponsored event promotions (e.g., Career Expo)

News releases

Advertising

Blogs

Email blasts

Videos

Speeches to external groups, if requested

Technical articles

Required Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, English, journalism, communications, or a related field.

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Ability to write and edit a range of materials.

Proficient in InDesign and Photoshop.

Ability to help create video and graphic communications.

Ability/knowledge of digital platforms and analytics.

Ability to conduct research and provide analysis of clients and industry topics.

Understand Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Strong computer skills and experience working in data.

Desired skills and experiences:

Serve as a liaison between all operational divisions, administrative groups, and senior leadership to ensure efforts are not duplicated, communications are coordinated, content and/or content calendars are planned together, and an overall communications strategy is conducted collaboratively.

Bring new ideas forward and think about what is next for Ayres and how to relay such information to its internal and external clients.

Ability to multitask and reassess/reprioritize based on changing needs.

Be detail-oriented and precise to produce accurate, focused, impactful, and purposeful content.

Maintain a welcoming, approachable demeanor to build relationships and encourage companywide engagement.

Ability to determine messaging channels (e.g., social media, email, advertisements, video, etc.).

Develop and direct the preparation of campaigns and messages.

Participate in the development and creation of the message and materials.

Write or edit the text of the project.

Collaborate with others (such as graphic designer, editors, videographers, etc.) in the design of the final product.

Ensure brand standards are upheld and consistent across platforms.

Track and report on activities, including ROI where applicable.

Review with the team the outcome and reaction of clients and staff to the final product.

Make adjustments based on lessons learned

Participate in marketing budget planning process relative to communications needs.

Travel as necessary to other Ayres’ offices to assist with communication activities.
