Requisition Number: 3353 Job Description: SUMMARY: five (5) month temporary grant to assist Monroe residents following Hurricane Irma with linkages to services needed \u25cf Works with individuals, families, and groups to provide outreach, emotional support, individual and group crisis counseling, public education, and referrals when needed. \u25cf Is synonymous with term \u201coutreach worker.\u201d \u25cf Represents program in the community and networks with other agencies and partners to ensure needs of survivors are met. \u25cf Provides presentations to community groups on disaster reactions, coping skills, stress management, and the Crisis Counseling program. \u25cf May use the mobile application to complete data forms COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
