About the Role:
Our Futureforce recruiting team is looking for an Operations Assistant to support our Programs and Operations team and assist with planning and execution of all small and large scale university events. You will also work closely with our recruiting staff to support Futureforce on and off university campuses across AMER.
In this role, you will be our perfectionist to help us sharpen and tie up loose ends in our pre-event preparation and execution of all Futureforce events.
It is imperative that you have strong organizational skills. The ability to coordinate administrative items, not limited to, booking conference rooms, visitor check-in, administer company tours as needed to ensure a stellar experience while at Salesforce HQ. Ensure all events are compliant with internal Salesforce event regulations and security requirements.

Assist with event promotion, event logistics and execution.
Process company ticketing systems for AV/IT/HVAC/Janitorial as needed for large events onsite.
Food order/delivery and prep for arrival
Manage event decor and ambiance arrangements
Review overall budget/expenses for events
Place orders and re-orders for swag/inventory management
Shipping of items across AMER and globally as needed
Copy and print name badge and signage as needed
Scheduling employee recruiting representatives, internal and external panel members.
Planning spreadsheet and calendar maintenance
Ability to perform physical tasks such as pulling pallets, walking extensively, moving boxes, etc.
Ability to work on multiple projects independently, prioritize workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Recent graduate or currently pursuing degree in Marketing, Communications or Hospitality
1 year of event and/or programs experience preferred.
Proficient in software skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite software.
Excellent writer with superior grammar, spelling and proofreading skills
High performing self-starter, with proven ability to work both independently as well as a member of high performance-output teams in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal and professional presentation skills
Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends during summer program months. 25% Light travel is possible.
