Summary Elite Human Capital Group in Brookfield, WI is conducting a search for a client in the travel industry for a Business Travel Sales Director in the Southwest region of the US. This person will be responsible for the achievement of sales goals through direct selling of our client’s travel services to businesses in a defined category and geographical territory.Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. • Meet and exceed annual new-business sales targets with an emphasis on the mid to large-market category.• Develop consultative relationships with C-level decision makers and procurement executives while educating them on our client’s value proposition. • Identify new prospects within assigned territory by cold calling, researching, networking, conducting meetings, and via other creative marketing methods.• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM to maintain potential client\/contact activities related to the sales cycle. • Prepare weekly and monthly reports including client contacts established and results of sales activities.• Prepare solicited and unsolicited sales proposals. • Negotiate terms and conditions of client contracts and service level agreements.• Ensure new client information is communicated to implementation team. Partner with implementation team and maintain contact with new clients to ensure satisfaction with services.• Assist and coordinate special events including educational seminars, industry conferences, and marketing promotions.• Enhance the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.• Drive standards and best practices whenever possible and effectively foster a culture of engagement.• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of operations and services performed.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and\/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Minimum of five years’ experience Business-to-Business (B2B) selling, preferably travel management services.• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or communications is preferred.• Experience with management of multi-national bids a plus.• Knowledge of business travel-related services would be a distinct advantage. • Demonstrated success in delivering new sales results in a high-growth environment.• Successful track record for interacting with multi-level relationships within accounts.• Strong negotiation skills.• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and establish work priorities.• Maintain an aggressive rate of new sales growth and exceed annual sales goals.• Write and speak succinctly in a variety of communication settings.• Prepare highly developed, effective presentations to ensure clear delivery to all levels within an organization. Effectively facilitate group interaction throughout the presentation. • Actively listen and convey understanding both in groups and one-on-one. ​
