Job Description

Grand Canyon University is seeking a Coordinator for the Broadcast and Sponsorships department. Through general supervision, this position assists the Broadcast & Sponsorships team in the execution of sponsorship sales & activation and other administrative activities which support the fulfillment of sponsorship agreements.

The Coordinator works on assignments of diverse and moderately complex scope; engages in matters requiring planning and coordination across functional lines; exercises judgment to make decisions for less defined issues and selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Responsibilities:

Serves as a contact and link between internal departments, external parties, and broadcast and sponsorship partners.

Communicates with both internal and external partners to ensure execution of invoicing, sponsorship asset production & activation, and billing.

Maintains CRM, data bases, and spreadsheets as needed.

Coordinates and supports projects related to broadcast & corporate partnerships.

Serves as the first point of contact with other departments about video needs and schedules exploratory meetings with project team as required.

Assists with supporting one-off projects and campaigns.

Communicates with internal requesting departments and outside agencies to ensure fulfillment of sponsorship agreements.

Collaborates with other departments on regularly scheduled events ensuring availability of appropriate support.

Coordinates meetings and schedules for broadcast & sponsorship staff.

Provides administrative support (phones/mail delivery, trouble shooting on various tech issues, ordering supplies, etc).

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in marketing, public relations or communications

2 to 3 years of experience in television, marketing, or corporate partnerships, preferably in production support role.

Must be able to pass background check.

Must be able and willing to travel which may include overnights (10%)

Has a strong grasp and understanding of all phases (pre- production, production, and post production) of producing video content.

Ability to communicate effectively with outside and internal clients, along with all levels of employees.

Must be able to interact comfortably with high-level staff, executives and media personnel

Must be able to act appropriately and make decisions in the absence of the manager within scope of responsibility.

Ability to build relationships through effective interpersonal skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, (Word, Outlook, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher), MS Project or similar project management software, social media platforms.

Familiarity with social media platforms to ensure video assets meet requirements.

Extremely detail oriented, and excellent written communication.

Good attention to detail and analytical skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, cope with changing priorities and complete projects with competing deadlines.

Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends or holidays required.

Demonstrated ability to maintain poise under stress and to respond to requests quickly and logically.

Experience working on multiple projects at once.

Strong understanding of spelling and grammar.
