This position is housed at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Northwest Washington, DC in the Department of Government and Community Affairs. The Communications Intern will support the development of internal and external communications, public relations, and marketing solutions for Sibley's community health education and outreach programs, grant opportunities, and strategic partnerships. The Intern will work closely with the Government and Community Affairs Department in the coordination of community health activities that enhance the visibility of Sibley and Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

Currently completing or completed a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related a field.

Rising college Junior, Senior or first-year graduate student preferred.

Interest in public and health policy issues affecting health centers, non-profit organizations, urban institutions, and hospitals.

Access to a laptop computer is necessary for this position.
