Overview Pay Grade\/Pay Range: 57 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 33675.24 Midpoint - $ 49171.20 Department\/Organization: 800101 - VP Student Life Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Limited Nights and Weekends. Job Summary: The Marketing Manager I is responsible for overseeing the marketing, public relations, event planning, fundraising, advertising and\/or circulation responsibilities of a publication or program. Additional Department Summary: The Communication Coordinator is responsible for overseeing social media, public relations, graphic design, advertising and\/or circulation responsibilities of a publication or program for the departments associated with Student Health and Wellbeing within the Division of Student Life, including the Student Health Center and Pharmacy, Health Promotion and Wellness, Counseling Center, and Collegiate Recovery and Intervention Services. Responsible for completing required training related to UA policies\/procedures and laws\/regulations that create a more hospitable and respectful workplace and safer work environment. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Graphic Design or related field and a minimum of two (2) year of related experience OR Master's degree in a related field. Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design and graphic design software such as Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe InDesign. Ability to work with others in a team environment. Excellent project management and time management skills. Excellent ability to write for diverse audiences and communication channels. Demonstrated ability to develop proactive communication plans within deadlines. Demonstrates initiative and creativity in promotional and design efforts. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Demonstrated knowledge of accessibility standards for print and electronic medias. Demonstrated commitment to expand multicultural knowledge, awareness, and skills as evidenced through: demonstrating self-awareness; understanding and valuing others; demonstrating knowledge of social inequalities; interacting effectively with a diversity of people; fostering equity and inclusion. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supervising and managing interns and student workers. Experience promoting health and\/or other programming in a college or corporate setting. Experience in developing\/managing communication campaigns. Experience in print and electronic media. Experience in web design, specifically the WordPress website platform.
