Donor Recruiter-18003853 JOB SUMMARY The Donor Recruiter position is responsible for the clerical and creative tasks associated with recruiting, scheduling and managing the blood drives and in-house promotions, including meeting targeted goals for inventory ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCreates and or designs program and processes to increase regular and new donations to expand our donor base. Manages a comprehensive donor recruitment effort that provides a steady stream of volunteer donor to the fixed donor center, remote drive within our geographic catchment area. Acts as a liaison with such entities as service groups, business leaders, community representatives and church/synagogue representative to become hosts for recruiting events. Able to speak with groups or press about blood donations. Works with Public Relations to ensure a creative stream of advertising Effectively tracks and utilizes advertising incentive dollars. Maintains the appropriate data on donors and blood inventory to manage collections versus inventory needs. Remains thoroughly knowledgeable about Federal Regulations that change donor suitability requirements and translate those changes rapidly into the recruitment efforts. Works with a widely diverse population to craft recruiting strategies that are effective for different age, ethnic and social demographic groups. Coordinates volunteers at various draw sites and mobile draws as well as the close coordination of technical staff and remote donor draw site representatives. Safely operate motor vehicle and comply with driver requirements as defined in **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. System�s Driver Safety Policy. Transportation to deliver posters or visit drive sites. Promotes mission, vision, and values of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., and abides by service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned.  EDUCATIONRequired : Bachelor�s degree in marketing, communications or related field EXPERIENCERequired : Three years� experience with marketing/ communications Preferred : Non-profit marketing/ communications including campaign development, event planning, working with volunteers, data management. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
