Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Administrative Assistant is an integral member of the Marketing team. Sagamore Pendry Baltimore is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Marketing and Communications team with professionalism. This role will include a wide variety of administrative functions.


Job duties include; although are not limited to:

Answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments

Communicating information and composing correspondence

Coordinating and arranging meetings, preparing agendas and materials, and reserving and preparing facilities

Creating presentations and spreadsheets

Conducting, researching, and compiling reports

Handling multiple projects with accuracy and proficiency

Coordinating with marketing and communications vendors

Tracking budgets and utilizing financial tracking tools


Bachelor's degree in business marketing or related field, and/or 2 years’ experience in an administrative support role.

Knowledge of marketing and communication functions including advertising, social media, and public relations

Exceptional interpersonal skills for positive and effective communication with a diverse population.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Extremely organized and efficient in planning and executing a complex work load.

Must be adept at multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Previous hospitality experience is a plus.


Position requires sitting for most of the day, but the Associate is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature generally is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. This position requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
