Adoption Coaches are responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of a variety of external client conversion and adoption projects. These include coordinating with the client to understand their specific solution build and workflows, scheduling and directing of resources on client site, and educating conversion support resources on the Millennium solutions and client-specific workflows.
In addition, an Adoption Coach maintains a broad understanding of Cerner solutions by learning design best practices, core team deliverable services and evaluates the best way to engage with each client. Adoption Coaches work one-on-one with the various end-users within the healthcare setting. An Adoption Coach possesses excellent communication skills, decision making skills, flexibility and comfort with ambiguity, the ability work comfortably with technology, an understanding of the adoption process, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
