Proud to be an equal opportunity employer.Reporting to the Director, TS Change Leadership and Communications, this role is responsible for driving and executing communications strategy and activities against the strategic direction within the Technology Services organization. This includes execution of prioritized internal and external communications for the Technology Services organization. He/she will also oversee and execute within the communications messaging platform and programs (internal and external) that effectively describe and promote the TS organization and its services. This role will work closely with employees at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders across a variety of functional roles (both internal and external). RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and create the communications strategy, design, implementation, and management of prioritized programs and initiatives.• Carry out assignments and special projects independently, drawing upon skills, knowledge, and expertise related to communications.• Develop related communications plans to ensure successful implementation of strategies. Create conditions for a smooth transition to changes and maximum enthusiasm to adapt to the change.• Champion the appropriate skills, tools, and processes across project and programs within the TS organization to institutionalize clear strategic communications practices.• Create and oversee strategic, program, and organizational communications to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with overall JJT strategy. • Ensure internal communications are consistent and build continuity of look and feel across all channels.• Proactively manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful execution of critical projects using effective communications tools and methodologies.• Promote the key stakeholder engagement strategy that involves stakeholders who are affected by the decisions of the TS Leadership Team or who can influence the implementation of its decisions.• Partner closely with Corporate Communications and Human Resources, as needed.• Serve as a change agent for all transformational (organizational and program) efforts. • Drive and ensure consistency of Technology Services’ communication and brand standards internally.• Maintain the library of communications, brand templates, and presentations for the organization to leverage.• Develop creative ideas and stories that are shared through traditional communication outlets.• Maintain and optimize the Technology Services internal portal and related websites.• Support a network of change champions.• Involve strategic thinking necessary to be a part of the leadership within Technology Services and contribute to the broader J&J Business Technology strategic, innovation and growth agenda.','!*!• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations is required. • An advanced degree is preferred and professional certifications are a plus. • A minimum of 8 years of Communications experience is required with at least few years in a large global environment.• A minimum of 6 years’ experience with large enterprise transformational projects is required.• Extensive experience in creating communications strategies to meet business outcomes in a technical environment is required.• Demonstrated extensive experience covering strategy, planning, content creation, delivery and measurement with extensive practical experience in internal communications.• Extensive experience working and influencing either directly or indirectly through a global, matrixed organization • Knowledge of relevant systems and functional methods for measuring and developing impact analyses, as well as, the effectiveness and progress of change implementation.• Experience with various communication media and approaches to most effectively optimize content messaging. Digital skills and familiarity with information technology and digital channels of communication.• Experience and understanding of key business processes, technical/systems landscape, overall trends, key solutions and issues. Ability to direct and lead multiple cross-functional project teams.• Significant experience managing complex technical projects, including leading other teams of individuals across several other organizations is required.• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies in a challenging and high-growth environment.• Demonstrated ability to build strong business and vendor/supplier relationships that ensure the successful delivery of IT services that drives benefits to the segments and business units is required.• Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate and present across all management and organizational levels are required.
