Position: Global Marketing & Communications Analyst / Specialist
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Reporting to the Global Enablement & Communications Manager, the Marketing & Communications Analyst / Specialist will be responsible for authoring and deploying internal-facing communications worldwide covering a portfolio consisting of project communications, newsletters and enablement programs. The candidate will be able to create and modify HTML email templates, send accurate and timely email deployments, strategize and craft new campaigns, manage email data, list segmentation, reporting and analytics.
This exciting role will work closely with various stakeholders to drive performance through innovative marketing strategy as well as email design and copy. The candidate will help define the department's audience targeting strategy, testing methodology, and measurement of email marketing effectiveness. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the development of tools, processes, and frameworks to further best practices and deliver cutting edge communications for our organization.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Develop email communication strategy with various internal stakeholders to identify proper approach to increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth
Create compelling content design strategy that is connected to our approach to learning design including Powerpoint presentations, creative assets and media
Manage email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including setup, testing, deployment, and reporting
Create and leverage coded email templates to deliver up-to-date email campaigns within a strict and evolving brand style guide
Plan, maintain and update email marketing calendars and identify optimal send schedules
Partner with creative and marketing comms to optimize web assets, template design and content
Manage and build landing pages to support programs and internal projects
Recommend and implement email best practices, and stay up-to-date on the latest email marketing trends... be the expert!
Work with other digital marketing teams to develop cross-channel communication strategy;
3 years experience in either Email Marketing or Corporate Communications
Relevant BA/BS degree required
Experience in HTML and CSS to author and debug outbound emails ahead of each send
Able to define and evangelize HTML Email and Communicaton best practices
Experience working with email marketing platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Data-oriented and good understanding of segmentation
Excellent project management skills and experience managing clients either internally or in an agency environment
Team player, able to learn and work with cross-functional teams
High energy with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical and non-technical audiences including strong public speaking skills and experience presenting to small and large audiences
A sense of humor, tenacity, and grace under pressure
