UMR, UnitedHealthcare’s third - party administrator solution, is seeking an experienced Marketing/Digital Manager who appreciates the opportunity to improve people’s health through digital engagement. Working closely with the Marketing Communications and Digital Solutions leadership team, this Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations as well as, maintaining long term strategies for this high-functioning, fast-paced team. He/she will work to create and maintain scalable processes and best practices in our marketing, creative services, events management, sales support and digital solutions areas.

Primary Responsibilities:
Proactively manages training and development budget and actively seek out ways to further skills development for the team and team members
Works with team leadership to continually assess department’s current capabilities compared to future objectives and requirements, and help build an internal development and recruitment strategy
Collaborates with team leadership to create and maintain department’s strategic roadmaps including defining individual projects, department operational goals, budgets, submitting service review and capital funding documentation
Represents team in cross-departmental meetings to foster strategic relationships and develop best practices within the larger UMR and UHC organizations
Maintains the department’s project management system making sure current projects are kept on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, and status reports and future tasks are planned out accordingly
Facilitates the development of creative briefs, in consultation with Creative Director, Writers and Designers
Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and execute project communication plans
Allocate creative resources based on business priorities, as well as, project quantity, complexity, and due dates to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables
Preserves the institutional memory of the department by maintaining a shared knowledge base of best practices
Helps facilitate department decision-making by preparing and presenting quarterly reports on resource/staffing supply and demand
Leads and organizes meetings including weekly staff calls and project status updates
Conducts annual department reviews to and ensure efficiencies of processes within the department and apply improvements as needed
Stays tuned-in to the team culture, chemistry, processes and structure, and makes recommendations for enhancements
Demonstrated Skills:
Highly organized with experience using a robust tracking system
Work a flexible schedule, as required by business demands
Work in high production fast paced environment with changing priorities
Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and effectively establish priorities
Technically capable and excellent communicator
A proactive, self-starter who leads by example; contributes to building a positive team environment, and demonstrates ability to adapt / manage ambiguous situations, as well as, make decisions and solve problems under pressure
Ability to confidently communicate with and influence stakeholders in a cross-functional teams environment
Diligent and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, project/time/resource management skills
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of experience
3 years digital marketing communications experience within a matrixed organization
3 years project management experience leveraging cross-functional teams
1 years managing and prioritizing high volumes of work
1 years implementing processes and procedures to increase efficiencies
1 years tracking and managing resources using project management software systems
Experience interfacing professionally with all levels within and outside of the organization, including C-suite level leaders
Proficiency MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior operations experience
Experience working in healthcare industry
Account management experience with partnership management and operational optimization
