Strategic Pursuit Coordinators are specialists in planning, organizing, managing and producing targeted marketing efforts and communication for various teams and projects, including creating informational products to support these efforts. Primary Responsibilities **Approximately 60% travel is required** The Strategic Pursuit Team\u2019s primary goal is to proactively work with teams on large or strategic pursuit opportunities to gain market share and to elevate HDR\u2019s stature in the industry. A pursuit refers to a tailored marketing effort that aims at winning new business or maintaining existing client relationships for HDR\u2019s Water, Transportation, Federal and Resources business groups. Must have strong communication skills, be capable of working with multi-disciplinary teams and be able to motivate others. As a senior-level marketing coordinator, the Strategic Pursuit Coordinator will partner with and support the pursuit team\u2019s leader and team members with planning, organization production coordination of proposals, presentations and other marketing collateral. This person will also be responsible for assisting teams with the development, tracking and implementation of pursuit capture plans, note taking, document organization, assisting in the development of key messages and win themes, managing individual and team deadlines and coordinating efforts with other offices, teaming partners, subconsultants and staff. *LI-KV1 Qualifications Required Qualifications Skills require a balance of leadership and support with a strong focus on customer service. Tasks may include writing, editing, informational research, developing graphics concepts, coordinating other team members and event planning. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to motivate others. Bachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications, or related area, and a minimum of 3 years industry experience is recommended. A successful candidate should have experience managing large, complex proposals, including coordinating, leading and managing the pursuit process. Ability to work on complex and multi-part projects independently Engineering\/Architectural industry experience preferred Ability to learn basic technical engineering concepts Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams Excellent problem solving, time management, organizational and project management skills Ability to develop protocols, processes and systems and contribute to improving the efficiency of the business and team Demonstrated leadership experience in leading, mentoring and engaging a diverse team of marketing, communications and graphic design professionals Superior interpersonal and negotiation skills Strong oral and written communication skills Understanding of graphic design and document layout principles Mastery of strategic marketing communication concepts Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe InDesign Experience in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and Prezi recommended Approximately 60% travel is required
