What You Will Do

As an Executive Director of Seton Williamson Foundation with Seton Family of Hospitals-TX, you will have the opportunity to:

Directs the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for fundraising activities for Seton Williamson Foundation.


Collaborates with executive management on identification of fundraising goals.

Develops and implements plans for capital and major fundraising initiatives.

Manages foundation board business and operations. 

Identifies, cultivates and recruits influential community leaders as donors, foundation trustees, committee members and volunteers; encourages positive, lifelong relationships between the organization and influential community leaders; provides opportunities for donor involvement and community volunteerism.

Implements marketing strategies that will create a climate conducive to major giving and increase the number of major planned gifts and estate commitments.

Prepares or assists with budgets and ensures compliance with allocated funding.

Responsible for generating annual financial support for ongoing programs and initiatives while providing leadership on financial targets, budget variances, cash flow projects and provides interpretation of such data at foundation board and committee meetings.

Develops operating budgets for the foundation to meet or exceed revenue and expense goals and interprets and articulates such financial concepts to staff and board members as necessary to develop and successfully implement foundation policies and procedures.

Develops Foundation goals setting and reporting process and procedures.

Carries a portfolio of major gift supporters and prospects.

Assists with fundraising events.

Maintains a collaborative working relationship with hospital administrators.

Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need



High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred

Work Experience:

5 years of experience required.

10 years of experience preferred.

2 years of leadership or management experience required.

5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred.
