Position Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role can either be located at our Waterbury, CT or Kent, OH facility.

Responsible for developing and assisting in the execution of all marketing campaigns with the primary goals being continued growth of leads, qualification of leads, and incremental revenue growth. This role will manage inbound and outbound marketing programs including marketing campaigns for new products, collateral development, media buys, trade shows, digital marketing initiatives such as SEO, SEM, website development, marketing automation, social, and video production. This role will be responsible for knowing the business’ targeted markets and mapping marketing content to the buying process. A high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills are required to be successful in this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee outbound marketing initiatives, analytics, and ROI of executed activities, including website, social, marketing automation, media buys, trade shows, and ecommerce marketing efforts

Supervise and mentor team of marketing professionals to achieve performance goals

Manage and create marketing content on an on-going basis to deliver the strategic marketing plan including, advertising, collateral, white papers, articles, emails, social media, presentation decks to drive leads and brand awareness

Produce valuable and engaging content that attracts and converts our target groups

Oversee all ongoing website development regarding content creation and management, domain strategies and optimizing technical functionality

Show an awareness of thought leadership that expands company’s opportunities and supports a complex sales process that is incorporated into key marketing campaigns

Collaborate with product managers, sales, engineering, and management to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our target markets and customers

Launch and optimize social media marketing campaigns

Devise market campaigns that influence and educate the industry

Oversee the maintenance and execution of marketing automation software to nurture key markets and qualify leads at all points in the buyer’s journey

Report on KPI’s tied to demand and lead generation. Deliver routine analytics and ROI to senior management illustrating key measurement metrics and how they stack up to industry benchmarks

Support product positioning of the existing portfolio and new product launches

Work with the product management team to develop and deploy product value propositions that addresses our customer’s “pain points” and most complex business and application challenges

Assist with event marketing efforts to create event marketing strategies, signage, event collateral and promotions

Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Marketing, Business, or equivalent degree

5 – 7 years of experience in marketing role

1 – 3 years of experience in marketing leadership role managing personnel or projects is preferred

Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, etc.

Knowledge of HTML, Sitecore, and content management systems is preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of the value selling and value proposition concepts

Computer and software proficient (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Demonstrated creative insight with an ability to integrate digital marketing activities with a more expansive direct marketing outbound strategy

Additional Characteristics:

Willingness to travel as needed to customers, trade shows, and various AMETEK facilities (est. 5-10%)

Customer first oriented

Energetic, driven, and able to interface effectively and positively with various positions within both customer accounts and with internal team members

Team and individual results oriented
