About Corporate and Firmwide Employee CommunicationsCorporate and Firm-wide Employee Communications is an integral function within JPMorgan Chase, focused on reinforcing our culture and keeping employees informed and engaged with the firm’s priorities and diverse businesses. The team is a trusted advisor to senior leaders, key stakeholders and other communications managers across the company and utilizes a variety of engagement channels and tools. Among these are Company Home, State News and Hub Communications intranet sites, the employee newspaper Ink, digital signage, email messages, internal exhibits, learning sessions and large and small employee meetings.    

This candidate will support communications for the Global Technology organization at JPMorgan Chase – and will report to the head of Global Technology Communications.

Summary

Global Technology is on a journey to transform the way it works and to accelerate the delivery of innovation and change. Our GT Vision strategy is the roadmap for this body of work and is focused on bringing change that creates value for our businesses – making it quicker, easier and cheaper for customers and clients to do business with JPMorgan Chase. As a member of the Global Technology (GT) Communications team, this candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering communications strategies that reach over 50,000 technologists worldwide in support of the GT Vision strategy – as well as GT’s program, engagement and change management communications.

Major Responsibilities include:

Partners with members of the Global Technology leadership team and internal partners to develop communication strategies to support and drive content that focuses on GT programs, employee engagement and change management initiatives.

Develop communication strategies to support and drive engagement and participation in POWERUP, GT Vision’s engagement arm. 

Work closely with the GT’s Change Management team on the development and organization of employee events to support the change management agenda and reinforce GT programs and the GT Vision strategy.

Write targeted communications including executive messages, strategic business updates, technology success stories, people-related communications, organization announcements, as well as other timely business messages.

Develop and deliver content and messaging for employees (via intranet, email, collateral, video, talking points, articles, blogs, town halls, social media, etc.) consistent with objectives related to Global Technology’s vision, values and objectives.

Create communications-related graphics as needed: including Intranet sites, print/web collateral, merchandise, posters, newsletters etc. – and maintain Intranet content and design.

Regularly attend department meetings throughout the business to listen and collect feedback and information to develop relevant and timely communications.

Maintain intranet design and continuously sources and/or writes content to aid in building awareness of GT programs and change initiatives.

Create communications-related graphics as needed across multiple channels: including Intranet sites, print/web collateral, merchandise, posters, newsletters, etc.

Utilizes results to refine and improve ongoing tactics and/or to identify opportunities to implement new communications methodologies across GT. ','!*!

Skills and Qualifications:

5-7 years of internal and corporate communications experience, including extensive hands-on writing, editing, project management, and presentation building

BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree

Experience in technology or financial services strongly preferred

Demonstrated success developing executive-level messages, providing communications counsel to senior management teams, and executing strong communications strategies

Organized self-starter, project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track complex and overlapping milestones and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines. 

Experience working with C-suite executives

A creative and innovative thinker

Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with executives, peers and other functional groups across the company

High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and takes accountability and accepts responsibility

Strong ability to take complex concepts and deliver them into simple/digestible communications

Experience with Intranet design, content development, and collaboration and measurement tools
