Description General Summary: The Public Relations position will assist in engaging, prompting, or creating an intended public image of Honda Aircraft Company. Duties and Responsibilities: Devise creative public relations strategies that fit company profile Develop effective PR plans using appropriate strategies and tactics Organize and coordinate PR activities Use a variety of channels (TV, press, internet etc.) to maximize company exposure Liaise with marketing professionals to ensure consistency in promoting corporate image Arrange for interviews or public speaking events and construct press releases Advise company on handling sensitive public issues to preserve reputation Assess opportunities for sponsorships and other partnerships and manage relations Analyze results of PR campaigns or efforts and prepare reports Qualifications Education, Work Experience, Certification and\/or Licensure: BSc\/BA in Public Relation, Marketing or similar field 5 to 7 years work experience (not including internships) Experience in coordinating and managing effective Public Relations campaigns Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of social media (blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills; comfortable as a public speaker Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills Be proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to detail Possess the ability to keep information confidential Ability to write AP style Ability to work in high-stress environments, often for long hours Ability wide degree of creativity and latitude Requirements: Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and\/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.). Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and\/or safety instructions with no restrictions. Effectively communicate in Business English language. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials\/people\/items\/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided \u201creach assistance technology\u201d or \u201cmovement assist technology\u201d (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly\u2019s, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
