Thomson Reuters is growing and has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our team. You will oversee all marketing-related content initiatives across multiple platforms and formats to provide helpful content to customers that will drive product/category awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth through digital lead generation and digital sales. You will be an expert in all things related to digital content and channel optimization and meaningful measurement for our legal customers engaging with our digital channels.
Responsible for the creation and oversight of a content strategy that stems across our digital customer journeys to support business needs and growth goals.
Design workflows for content lifecycle processes that include content creation, review and approval cycles, publishing, analysis and optimization of content.
Collaborate in the creation and implementation of a content calendar to align content releases with product launches, campaigns and promotions and business activities.
Perform ongoing analyses, content audits and gap analyses to drive strategic recommendations in content strategies.
Work with our digital analytics team to define, establish and manage metrics to measure the effectiveness of content solutions including: ROI, content/brand integrity, content accuracy and relevance, efficiencies gained in content improvements.
Stay up-to-date with content marketing best practices and generate new ideas to educate and entertain target audiences.
Collaborate with digital marketing managers, SEO managers, paid media managers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
Manage external agencies to align on strategy and execution needs.
Conduct editorial meetings to collaborate with other team members and marketing stakeholders to identify new content opportunities and to turn technical knowledge into content.
Organize, manage, and communicate the editorial calendar.
With a team of contractors, write, edit, curate, measure, and optimize a broad range of content including but not limited to:
Website/Landing Pages, White Papers, Webinars, Case Studies, Presentations, Videos Social Media, Articles, Infographics, video scripts and more
Create a content library to organize and store content assets so they are easily accessible by the team.
Collaborate with digital marketing managers and product/customer experts to ensure accurate positioning and messaging.
Increase website traffic by producing compelling content that ranks and converts.
Ensure content quality, clarity, and consistency across all digital assets and channels.
Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or relevant field
5 years of marketing experience, specific to content marketing
, including ownership of content calendar.
Strong understanding of SEO, Google analytics, digital advertising, demand generation, marketing automation, content measurement and optimization, and social media marketing
Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, measure, and optimize successful inbound and outbound content marketing campaigns
Highly organized and detail oriented with advanced project management skills
Skilled storyteller with superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively and drive projects to completion
Strong technical aptitude
