Work you'll do
Support strategic communications program workstreams, manage day to day Public Affairs Officer priorities, and organize resources. Coach team(s) through development of all deliverables and talking points to align with client mission. Strategic Communications focuses on sharing technology progress, empowering technical, non-technical, domestic, and our field customers to perform work effectively and serve as champions for diplomatic technology. This position will manage the team and is responsible for enabling knowledge transfer, sharing the latest technology updates, hosting tech-focused webinars, and communicating leadership's strategic priorities to technical staff as well as non-technical staff.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor Degree
7 years of experience in writing and editing with a growing ability to work independently and in groups as needed
Demonstrated understanding of the adoption of technology and its impact to future operating models and organizational structures
Experience managing strong client relationships and helping them identify needs
Proven ability to follow established standards and maintain brand continuity
Ability to deliver consistent, high-value services on a cross-section of complex customer and citizen centric projects
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be eligible to obtain Secret security clearance level
Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and communication skills
Experience supporting new web portal development and enhancements to an existing public-facing web application
Experience coordinating with developers to implement and test designs throughout agile timelines
Experience communicating complex ideas graphically within a complex environment (public sector preferred)
