CPMC-1814936','Clinic and Outreach Manager - Transplant','!*!JOB SUMMARY:
The Clinic and Outreach Manager oversees all daily operations of the 2 San Francisco, 1 Sacramento, and 10 Outreach Clinics for the department of Transplantation and End Stage Organ Failure, including liver disease management and evaluation, and pre- and post transplant clinics for all organ services – heart, liver, kidney and pancreas. Our clinics are a large mutli-disciplinary operation with over 18 physicians, 8 surgeons, and 6 nurse practitioners. The Clinic Manager is responsible for optimizing clinic operations and collaborating with program management to align clinic strategy with programmatic strategy as well as creating and adhering to an annual budget. The clinics continue to grow and expand and the Clinic Manager will oversee this growth and integrate new practices as needed. This position is responsible for clinic staff management as well as inventory control, standard work documentation, EPIC template management, and all staffing allocation including medical assistants and administrative staff. This position facilitates the master clinic schedule for all providers including physicians and nurse practitioners, social workers, facilities, medical assistants and phlebotomists.
This position oversees staff who are not primarily located in San Francisco as well as a San Francisco based team. Some travel will be required. ','!*!Education/Certification/Licensure:
B.A. or B.S. required or equivalent
Masters degree preferred (MBA/MHA/MS/MA)
A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical operations or healthcare administration
Experience managing outpatient clinic strongly desired
Management experience required
EMR experience is required
Project management experience required
Must have strong problem and issue resolution experience.
Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service and responding to patient and clinician needs in a prompt, courteous manner.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required
Must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities
